Skincare

I believe that taking care of our skin is one of our biggest priorities.
I believe it is imperative that we start early.
I believe it is easier to prevent than it is to correct.
I believe wholeheartedly in medical skincare as I have seen its benefits.
Bringing results driven modalities to my patients is important to me but I also believe that there are gentler ways to achieve beautiful skin.

My treatments are comprehensive, curated and cumulative.

I include a mix of deep cleansing, extractions, enzymes, chemical peels, dermaplaning, physical exfoliation, cryotherapy, mesotherapy and a host of other treatments that work cohesively in making the skin lift, glow and maintain hydrated skin - free of pigment and melasma. This, together with a home regimen created specifically for you.

My skincare treatments are known and loved and they change each time I see you (as your skin changes  each time you see me). I don't believe in cookie cutter treatments as no skin is the same.

My skincare treatments are available in:

60, 90 and 120 minute sessions and start at $250

Skincare for Teens

Skincare is just as important for teens as it is for adults.

I teach teenagers the importance of taking care of their skin, how to care for their skin and work with them to create a regimen that works for their lifestyle.

Just like adults, I am open to all forms of skincare treatments and modalities for my teens. I prefer not to introduce dermaplaning until a teenager is at least 18 and I will not perform this treatment on ACTIVE acne, however, peels, LED, Microneedling, extractions, etc, are all excellent options for a teenager, especially those suffering from acne.

As a teenager, I had acne. I took Accutane twice. I still have bouts of breakouts here and there - hormonal, stress, whatever the case is, I get it and watching them come in feeling self conscious about their skin and after a few months walking out with the self confidence that they had all along - is remarkable.

I also teach self confidence. My treatment room is a safe zone where I encourage positivity, I encourage my patients to speak kindly of themselves and I discourage negative self talk,

Treatments start at $150

Microneedling

The Skin Pen Microneedling - one of my favorite treatments to perform and to watch as my patients skin transforms. Little downtime, little side effects and quick turnaround.

Microneedling creates thousands of microchannels that stimulate our body’s own natural wound healing process while minimizing cellular damage. This process rejuvenates our skin from the inside out. The result: remodeling of scar tissue while keeping the overall structure of skin intact.

What to Expect:

It is advised that all "active" products be stopped approximately 5-7 days prior to Microneedling.

Patients typically arrive numb (topical numbing will be given to you at your previous appointment) and will numb 30-45 minutes before arriving.

During the treatment, a serum or PRP (platelet rich plasma) is used as slip and to brighten, tighten or enhance the procedure. The treatment itself is very comfortable. Some blood may come to the surface - this is a normal part of the procedure.

Most feel like they have a sunburn for the rest of the day after the treatment. Redness typically lasts 2-3 days at most, while some are red for less and some (rare) are red for more. I advise using a mineral based sunscreen and makeup if you need to go out of the house.
Some flaking and/or peeling is normal as well as sensitivity for a few days after the treatment. Normal regimen can be resumed about one week after the procedure unless instructed otherwise.

Treatment starts at $450

Chemical Peels

Chemical Peels are, simply put, acids used to exfoliate the skin. How they work and what they work on depends largely on:

  1. what kind of chemical peel is being used
  2. how strong the chemical peel is
  3. what the intended use of the chemical peel is (what the target is, i.e., acne, pigmentation)

Can anyone have a chemical peel?
While almost anyone can have a chemical peel, chemical peels come in all different strengths and some are left on, some are neutralized, some can be used on some skin types, some not on others - so answering this question is not as easy as yes or no. A consultation is always recommended as finding the right peel at the right time is an individualized process.

new services coming soon: BBL, Halo and Laser Hair Removal

What to Expect:

What to expect during and after a chemical peel depends largely on what type of peel you are having.  Chemical peels can be as benign as a brightening glow to a therapeutic acne peel such as salicylic in which you may experience some drying of the skin or you may receive a peel designed to shed layers and layers of skin - this is typically known as a sheet peel.

Whichever type of peel you have received, be sure that all of the benefits as well as risks have been explained to you. Peels can be a wonderful addition to any skincare regimen or they can wreak havoc if not properly administered.

Chemical peels start at $250 and up

LED

LED which was first studied in 1990 by NASA and LED's effects to promote wound healing in astronauts, stands for Light Emitting Diode.
Today we know that these lights fight against acne and the signs of aging utilizing the same light technology.

How it works: By emitting infrared lights (which causes heat) in different wavelengths and spectrums which have skincare and wound healing benefits..

Amber light stimulates collagen.
Red light promotes circulation.
White light penetrates penetrates the deepest and works to tighten and reduce inflammation and
Blue light kills bacteria.

During the treatment, the device sends light waves deep into the skin to trigger natural intracellular reactions.

The benefits are:
  • smoother skin, fine lines and wrinkles
  • reduced inflammation
  • improvement in acne scars
  • prevention of breakouts by killing bacteria
  • promotes circulation
  • stimulates collagen production
  • brighter skin

Some other conditions that LED is used to treat are:
  • Eczema
  • Hairloss
  • Psoriasis
  • Rough, scaly precancerous spots on the skin (actinic keratosis)
  • Rosacea
  • Sun damage
  • Wounds

LightStim LED light therapy delivers light energy to humans similar to the way plants absorb photons of light produced by the sun.
Each LightStim device emits a unique combination of distinctly colored LED lights customized for either Anti-Aging,
Acne or Pain. The various colors correspond to the different beneficial wavelengths of light.
Studies have shown that low level light therapy can stimulate the body’s cells, activating their own natural processes
for healing, rejuvenation and optimal function.

Treatments are recommended every 1-2 weeks for 30 minutes

Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a fascinating concept. Originating in Europe with the traditional method where active substances were injected into the subcutaneous tissue via micro needle punctures.

The non-invasive method utilizes Electro-osmosis and electroportation. Mesotherapy assists in elastin production, collagen, fat cell disbursement, lymph drainage, circulation, supports cellular activity and fights free radicals. Hyaluronic Acid or Vitamin C are often used and the procedure can be combined with a myriad of other procedures from peels to laser treatments and injectables.

TriaWave Microcurrent

Microcurrent Facials have been around since the 80’s. They are FDA approved as a muscle stimulator to treat Bell’s Palsy and muscle paralysis. Since I often compare skincare to working out - microcurrent isn’t a far stretch to the same analogy. We need to lift what’s dropping and microcurrent provides the stimulation to our muscles to do just that.

The TriaWave treatment deeply penetrates Environ serums to dramatically enhance the look, feel, and appearance of the skin. The microcurrent targets muscle strength to lift the skin and re-educates the muscles to reveal a tighter appearance.

“It gives an instant lift immediately,” says Licensed Aesthetician Noelle R. “It’s also very relaxing, with the device acting as a gentle massage as it works the muscles, creating a slight twitching. It is a very comfortable treatment, and delivers immediate results.”

TriaWave is a great treatment for anyone who has lost elasticity and is looking for solutions to fine lines and wrinkles. It’s an alternative treatment to Botox and fillers, for those considering facial plastic surgery but aren’t prepared to take the leap, and anyone looking to address jowls or loose skin. Alternately, it is also ideal for anyone who wants a deeper penetration of serums as a preventative treatment for fine lines and wrinkles.

Carboxytherapy

Originating in French Spas in the 1930’s as an injection of carbon dioxide, carboxytherapy is now utilized here in non-invasive therapeutic and cosmetic treatments.

Carboxytherapy is gradually becoming the center of attention of renowned experts and celebrities who prefer this treatment to those more aggressive and invasive methods. One can limit the effects of aging, reduce the appearance of stretch marks, enhance the effects of liposuction, treat cellulite or shape problem areas on the body.

The treatment: Carbon Dioxide enters into the deeper layers of the skin promoting blood circulation in the capillaries. This improves cell metabolism and our skin starts producing more collagen which improves moisture in the epidermis.

Usually after only two sessions, the tone of the skin improves greatly.

Aqua Gold

Aquagold Fine Touch has patented microchannel delivery that delicately delivers microdoses of cocktails - hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, Tranexamic acid, Niacinamide etc into the skin to address skin concerns.

Their 24k Gold microchannels are thinner than a human hair which makes the treatment virtually painless while delivering maximum results. The tiny needles stimulate natural collagen production and open microchannels on the surface of the skin - this allows products like wrinkles relaxers and dermal fillers to be delivered more effectively throughout the skin.

Treatment is great before an event as it gives the skin an immediate glow, plump and dewy hydration.

Can be done alone or added to any other treatment.

Treatment starts at $500

Bio-BrasionTrinity

My new Bio-Brasion is designed to retain the efficacy of traditional microdermabrasion while using gentle vacuum pressure to lift the skin to the diamond tip providing exfoliation.

Treatment features three passes including AHA, brightening agents and peptides/repairing botanicals.

One major benefit: the barrier function of the skin remains intact and protected. Bio-Brasion protects the integrity of the stratum corneum to ensure a safe and healthy treatment.

Expect a fresher complexion as we get rid of dead surface skin cells. The Bio-Brasion softens and smooths the skin, improves texture, reduces fine lines and with each treatment, your skin gets better and better.

Treatment is safe for all skin types and can be done on any part of the body.

Because my skincare treatments are completely curated, I usually incorporate the Bio-Brasion as part of my "skincare" treatments but it can be done as a stand alone treatment.
